About me

2026

After becoming Dutch BMW Racing Cup champion and BMW Compact Cup in 2025, 2026 marks the year I take my racing career to the international level. My focus is on entering the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, supported by a guest appearance in the Porsche Supercup at Zandvoort during the Formula 1 weekend.

This season is all about development at a higher pace: faster cars, world-class competition, and a professional environment where every detail matters. I will work closely with my team on advanced data analysis, race strategy, and preparation to make the transition to Porsche machinery as strong as possible.

2026 is the year where I continue building toward my long-term goals growing as a driver, competing internationally, and creating even more value for the partners who believe in this journey.

2025

After my first year in the BMW Compact Cup, I made the step up to the BMW Racing Cup a championship with faster cars, stronger competition, and much higher stakes. From the very first weekend, everything felt natural, and I knew immediately that this was the level where I needed to be.

Throughout the season, I focused on staying calm under pressure, maintaining a steady rhythm, and pushing for victory every time the lights went out. That mindset delivered results out of 18 races, I won 15 and stood on the podium almost every weekend. Each race taught me something new about discipline, precision, and making the right decisions when it mattered most.

One of the biggest highlights was fighting for the win at Zandvoort, where I managed to defend my lead lap after lap while the pressure behind kept building. Moments like those when you’re fully locked in and every move counts are the moments I race for.

This season wasn’t just about speed; it was about becoming a complete racing driver. I learned to work closely with my team on data, setup choices, and tire management. I invested in my physical and mental preparation, understanding how every detail can be the difference between a good result and a dominant one.

Looking back at this year, becoming BMW Racing Cup champion as a rookie with a 83% win rate is something I’m incredibly proud of. But what stands out most is how much I’ve grown in confidence, race-craft, and understanding what it takes to win consistently at a high level.

This season has shown me that I belong at the front. And even though it’s only the beginning, 2025 will always be the year that proved what I’m capable of.

2024

In 2024, I had a great season competing in the DNRT BMW Compact Cup, where I finished 4th in the championship. Missing the first round was a big challenge it put me 150 points behind the leader right from the start. Despite this, I stayed focused, kept improving, and climbed back up the standings. More than the results, it was a year of growth, both in skill and mental strength.

Beyond the Compact Cup, I gained valuable experience in endurance racing. One of the highlights was driving a BMW M240i for the first time during an endurance race in May, thanks to MDM Motorsport. My pace in wet conditions stood out, and we finished P5 out of 50 cars. Later that year, I raced in a BMW Compact 325ti. Although there was little competition in our class, I used it as a chance to improve my car control and race awareness. We finished P5 out of 50 cars overall.

Overall, 2024 was an unforgettable season that taught me more than I ever expected. I raced on new tracks, adapted to different cars and conditions, and kept learning every step of the way. I’m proud of how far I’ve come in such a short time and excited to keep developing as a driver through every challenge that comes next.

How it started

It all started when my dad took me to my first DTM race in 2013 at Circuit Park Zandvoort. That’s where I fell in love with motorsport. Afterward, we visited the track more often, also to watch my dad race.

In 2015, I got a PlayStation 4 along with the F1 2015 game, which I played a lot using a controller. This is where I became really interested in the dynamics of racing and finding the car's limits. Even with a controller, I learned techniques like trail braking and being gentle with the throttle.

In 2020, I got my first simulator for Christmas from my dad. I immediately started using it in the living room. Within a month, I began league racing with my friends on the F1 2021 game. We weren’t very good at it, but we had loads of fun together. In 2023, I transitioned to racing in Assetto Corsa Competizione with GT3 cars, where I learned about real racing concepts like overtaking maneuvers and pit stop strategies.

At the beginning of 2024, my dad bought back his old BMW Compact 318ti from a friend. In April of that year, my dad asked if I wanted to get my racing license. Of course, I said yes! Right from the start, I was quick. I applied all the experience I learned from sim racing to real life almost immediately. I raced for the first time on May 20, 2024, in the BMW Compact Cup. I finished in 2nd place overall after an intense battle for the lead.
